METKOOL SAW3000
METKOOL SAW3000 is a heavy-duty synthetic metal working coolant with superior cooling, wetting and lubricating properties. The product was developed as a high performance aluminium ingot sawing coolant. It is suitable for machining both soft and hard alloys at concentrations ranging from 5% to 10% in tap water.
EMERALD HX
Oiltech EMERALD HX is a heavy duty semi-synthetic metalworking coolant with superior cooling, wetting and lubricating properties. EMERALD HX is easily and totally miscible with water. It forms a light green transparent micro-emulsion allowing good workpiece visibility during operation. The broad application range of EMERALD HX metalworking fluid complements the new era of flexible manufacturing technology. EMERALD HX is ideal for individual machine and large centralized system applications. The coolant is used for machining both ferrous and non-ferrous metals in operations such as turning, sawing, milling, blanking, boring, grinding, deep hole drilling and hobbing. It is particularly suitable for sawing and grinding aluminium.
QUARTZ MX
QUARTZ MX is fully synthetic, which forms an agneous solution when diluted for use. Suitable for a wide variety of machining operations, QUARTZ is pole green in colour..... with enhanced load-carrying and anti-weld properties. It has the advantages of excellent mixing characteristics, being resistant to microbiological contamination, is a stable emulsion and is suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. QUARTZ MX is suitable for use in moderate duty machining and grinding operations of free machining steels, cast iron and aluminium.
SALINA TR80
SALINA TR80 is a low dosage, broad spectrum biocide for the control of yeasts, bacteria and fungi in industrial emulsions and aqueous systems. SALINA TR80 is recommended for a wide range of applications including cutting oil emulsions, synthetic and semi-synthetic coolants, and other aqueous systems. Its cost saving benefits include wide application, low dosage rates, no foul odours due to microbial contamination of aqueous system and dramatically reduced loss of efficiency of emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors and other additives. The addition of SALINA TR80 helps maintain the cooling and lubricating properties of a system, extends coolant life, thus reducing costs and waste disposal problems, and reduces corrosion of tools and machinery. It reduces fouling of nozzles, pipes and filters with bacterial and fungal clots and assists in the maintenance of production schedules and output by reduction of downtime of machinery. The product is completely oil free, eliminating problems of stability and compatibility with emulsion systems.
